Please note: Paypal has changed their systems to SHA-256 encryption from today, which we have tested REC with and all appears to work fine.
There may be small delays in receiving IPN's (Instant Payment Notifications) back from Paypal for orders, thereby making them set to New Order status.
Users can view the IPN status here:
PayPal > Profile > Profile and Settings > My Selling Preferences > Instant payment notifications > Update > IPN History page.
You will see "Sent" if the IPN should have been sent to us, "Queued" if PayPal hasn't got round to sending it to us yet, or if you see "Retrying" or "Failed" then this needs to be referred to us for further investigation.
