We have been rolling out a series of new features as part of our continuing drive for greater automation and efficiency for clients. There are four main areas for integration we have been developing:
- Multi Store
Replicating product data from a master store to other stores.
This has been installed on three sites with more to follow. The key efficiency saving is being able to elimintae product re-keying on the replica sites. - Backend accounting systems
Posting website transactions into Sage, Xero and Quickbooks.
This provides a higher level of integration than our existing Tradebox integration and eliminates keying orders from the website into the accounting system whilst also being able to update stock data from the accounting system. - Product variations within REC+
To enable different combinations of product options to have their own individual product codes and data.
This is desirable when selling products where you need to stock and analyse by the finished product. For example having a part in different colours and finishes or materials. This allows you to display the main product on the website with selectable options for the buyer to choose, but with the benefit that data sent to the accounting system will have individual product codes. - Business Intelligence
Linking REC+ and Sage to the Afinitis BI tool for business information and reporting.
This enables you to get a complete view of the enterprise, to better understand demand, aid production planning and analyse a range of essential business KPIs across different time period and year-on-year comparisons.
